AboutBioLouis Vorster is a South African photographer – based in Tulbagh in the Western Cape – who uses his camera to document the people and landscapes of suburban and rural communities. He is best known for his portraits, and photo narratives with subjects ranging from fashion and society to the environment. After receiving his National Diploma (Industrial Design) in Johannesburg in 1996, he moved to Cape Town where he received a Higher Diploma (Industrial Design) the following year. He discovered photography while teaching multimedia design at the Vaal University of Technology in 2000, since then his photographs have appeared in exhibition settings, advertising media, books, and numerous local & international editorial publications. |
